We aim to facilitate resources and high quality user focused Library and Information Services to
contribute constructively to the overall mission, vision, objectives and goals of
Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy, Sawantwadi
Institute of Pharmacy emphasizes on 360 degree development of the students and trains them to achieve their career ambitions and goals ultimately producing worthy citizens of developing and progressing country. To cater to the needs of the users as per the mission statement of the institute, Library plays a vital role in the collection development and dissemination of scientific information and includes a wide range of volumes of different branches of Pharmaceutical Sciences and allied subjects and also provides extensive access to leading Indian and international research journals.
The Library is highly sophisticated with state-of-art facilities. It provides online resources as well as digital resources. It has adopted QualSoft software for Integrated Library Management.
Library Committee had been constituted for the purpose of smooth functioning of the library and coordination with all Heads of the Department, faculty members, students and the management. The library committee has below mentioned members:

Open-access (OA) literature is free, digital, and available to anyone online. An open-access document has limited copyright and licensing restrictions which means anyone, anywhere, with access to the Internet may read, download, copy, and distribute that information. As with any scholarly article traditional or otherwise authors of an open-access article should be properly acknowledged and cited. Here we have come-up with an initiative to provide subject wise links of Open Access journals that will enable easy and quick access for literature search.
